Every year at the film festival, top celebs from the film and fashion industry walk the red carpet and portray their exclusive fashion trends. While some opt for daring attire, others use the red carpet to represent the traditions of their countries. For a long time, Indian celebrities have dominated the Cannes red carpet in sarees.

Even this year 76th Cannes Film Festival began on May 16 and will go on till May 27. Considered as one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, Cannes is renowned for its red carpet.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika portrayed a transparent white saree with frills and an off-the-shoulder blouse with a dramatic white statement necklace. Deepika Padukone was looking magnificent in a black and gold sequined saree paired with a black off-the-shoulder sequined blouse.

Kangana wore a Kanjivaram saree to the red carpet at Cannes to slay a fusion style. She added violet hand mittens to enhance the sass in her ethnic ensemble along with black shade with perfect makeup.

She appeared ethereal in a silver sequined saree and a see-through mesh bolero with a lengthy train. Along with this in 2014 she wore Anamika Khanna designed Beige net saree along with a gold choker with poker-straight hair that was so fabulous.
