Noida: In another dog attack incident, a pet dog recently attacked a woman at Sector 29, Noida. As per the victim’s family, it was the neighbour’s dog that bit her.
SK Sharma, the victim’s father-in-law, in his complaint filed against his neighbour at the Kotwali Police Station, Sector 20, said that his neighbour’s pet dog bit her daughter-in-law’s leg after which she was rushed to the hospital for first aid.
“Our neighbour, who is a pet owner, has refused to give us information about the vaccination and registration of the dog,” said Sharma.

Kotwali police have started an investigation by registering a case under Section 289 (negligent conduct in relation to animals) of the IPC.
Colonel SK Sharma (retd), a resident of Brahmaputra Apartments in Sector 29, Noida, lodged a complaint against his neighbour, Major General Sanjeev Chaudhary. He allegedly said that his neighbour's dog bit his daughter-in-law. He further stated that his neighbour refused to give necessary information about the vaccination and registration of the dog. The whole incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
On the other hand, Major General Sanjeev Chaudhary (retd) said that he apologised to them and offered them treatment, but they were not ready to accept. He further stated that he had shown the registration paper to prove that his dog was fully vaccinated but despite all these, they filed a case against him.
