Noida Authority inspects Sector 55, listens to residents’ grievances

Noida: The Noida Authority officials on Thursday inspected Sector-55 and met with residents and RWA members to discuss solutions to their problems under the "Noida Aapke Dwar" program.

Several Noida Authority officials, including the Deputy General Manager (Water), Deputy General Manager (Civil), Senior Manager (Work Circle-1), and Deputy Director of Horticulture (Division-I), inspected the area with the residents and Sector-55 RWA office bearers.

The CEO of the Noida Authority instructed the officials to visit Sector-55 on May 25, 2023, to address the issues faced by the residents under the "Noida Aapke Dwar" program. During the meeting, the RWA representative presented a list of demands that had been pending for several days.

The demands included:

  • The removal of encroachment from the service road facing the Radiance Hotel is necessary for the smooth flow of traffic.
  • The broken grill of the Vending zone wall, Block- B, should be repaired.
  • Installation of barbed wire on the boundary wall constructed in the sector.
  • Pruning of the trees planted by the Horticulture Department
  • Plantation drive in the sector
  • Maintenance of broken swings, benches, etc in the park.
  • Replacement of the old water line with a new line in C-Block and other parts of the sector.
  • Potholes repair after the work done by the water/sewer department.
  • In Block,- C, cleanliness work should be done.
  • At Gate No. 5, a red light is to be installed.

The officials assured the residents and RWA representatives that they would address all issues as soon as possible. They promised to resolve the maintenance problem within 5 days and ordered the relevant departments to look into the demands and resolve them. They also stated that they would review the progress in the next meeting.
