Ginger Tea

Ginger has lots of health benefits and it can play a vital role to induce periodic cramps and induce a good flow. Ginger contains gingerol that may reduce the inflammation and discomfort caused by menstrual cycle. It’s soothing and refreshing at the same time and this tea has been consumed for centuries.

To make Ginger tea takes some thinly sliced ginger. You don’t need to peel it first, but do rinse it and combine the ginger with fresh water in a saucepan, Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.  Add tea leaves and sugar and simmer for five to 10 minutes, if you want extra-strong tea. Pour the tea through a fine sieve to catch all of the ginger. You may add some honey or maple syrup, which enhances the ginger flavor.

Cumin Tea

Cumin is very effective for inducing the period flow. It helps to soothe the uterine muscle and it can help to ease the movements.

To make cumin tea you need to take a pan, add water and let it boil. When water starts boiling add cumin seeds to it and boil on high flame for a minute. Slow down the flame again simmer for 3-4 minutes. Switch off the gas after 3-4 minutes and cover it with a lid.  When it is lukewarm, add honey & lemon juice and stir it well.  Your refreshing cumin tea is ready.

Turmeric Tea or Turmeric Milk

Turmeric tea is extremely beneficial for the irregular menstrual cycle. This is a warm and soothing blend of ground turmeric, lemon juice, and honey. This tea is perfect for sipping any time of day. Making turmeric tea is so easy. Just a few simple steps and you’ll be sipping to good health. Add the water, turmeric, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper to a small pan. Heat on high just until the tea starts to boil. Turn the heat down to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes. Let the tea cool for a minute or two. Your healthy tea is ready.

Pineapple Juice

Pineapple helps to increase to number of white and red blood cells that will increase the blood flow during periods. Pineapple juice is a must have for those who rate dealing with irregular periods and uneven flow.

Take some fresh pineapple slices and put it in a blender, add little water and 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar and 6 to 8 ice cubes. If you want a very thick juice, then don’t add any water. Blend till smooth. For a thin consistency, you can add some more water. Pour in glasses.

Beetroot Juice

Beetroot Juice might also prove to be very effective for increasing the flow during periods. To make period flow heavier, one must try beetroot juice. This is enriched with abundant Iron, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, manganese, folic acid, and fibre. Drinking beetroot juice can improve blood circulation and blood flow during menstruation. In addition, consuming beetroot juice can increase hemoglobin levels, making your periods heavier.
Peel beets before juicing them to minimize the earthy taste. Feed beet chunks into your juicer one at a time. Add 1/4 cup water or juice when using a blender or food processor. You can also mix other fruits and vegetables to balance the earthiness of the beets and improve the overall taste.

Spinach Juice

Spinach is a green leafy vegetable which has many health benefits. This is beneficial for health due to its vitamin K content. This is very much effective during the menstrual cycle. Consuming spinach juice will help normalize your blood flow if you have irregular periods and it will help to improve your reproductive health.

Take fresh green spinach and clean the spinach along with apple and celery. Cut apple and celery into large pieces. Pour 3/4 cup water in a blender jar. Add apple, celery and spinach and some lemon juice. Blend in a blender until smooth. Place a fine mesh juice strainer over a large container and pour juice mixture over, press the pulp down with a spatula to get the maximum juice out of it.
