The AOA of Jaipuria Sunrise Greens, a residential society in Ahinsa Khand I, Indirapuram, is all set to launch its society magazine on Republic Day. The inaugural issue of Sunrise Buzz, the magazine, would be centred around the history of the society since 2008, when people began living there.

The AOA members said that the magazine would help newer residents know more about the society’s past. Apart from its history, there would be a section on Sunrise professionals - a who's who section for professionals living in the society.

A section called Sunrise talents would be about younger residents who have done well in academics and education. The magazine would also feature content generated by residents of the society.

Speaking to City Spidey, Shripal Singh, general secretary of the AOA and who is also the chief editor of the magazine, said, “The AOA has decided to publish the society magazine to increase interaction among residents.”

"Residents do not know each other and are confined to their lives in their workplaces and homes. With the help of this magazine, residents will at least get to know about one another. In my ancestral village, people used to know each other even though it was a larger community. The magazine comes with the tag line - magnifying sunrise glory," added Shripal.

The AOA members said that the magazine has been completely developed by residents and members of the AOA. It will also include write-ups by well known personalities of the city.

Ravindra Saini, president of the AOA, said that the magazine would be available for all households free of cost and would be published either quarterly or half-yearly depending on the amount of content.
