MNC executives living in sectors 23 and 23A are worried as the incidents happened within three days and the miscreants only took electronic gadgets.
Residents, especially MNC executives, staying in sectors 23 and 23A in Gurgaon are a worried lot these days as burglars struck thrice and decamped with only electronic gadgets, such as laptops and mobile phones.
The modus operandi in all three incidents was the same. The thefts took place in the morning between 8 am and 10 am, and the thieves made away with the valuables without evoking any suspicion.
Pradip Kumar, an MNC executive whose room in Sector 23 was burgled, told the police that his new HP laptop and his roommate’s mobile phone, an Apple iPhone, and some ID cards were stolen.
On the morning of May 22, the thieves struck again at another MNC executives room in Sector 23 and decamped with an HP laptop, an Acer laptop, a Moto G5 plus phone, a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 phone, and credit and debit cards.
Ravi Kant, a resident of Sector 23A who lives in a rented room with a friend, said that two persons can be seen entering their room and taking their bag in the CCTV footage obtained from their neighbour’s house.
Palam Vihar police has registered the cases and are investigating. The police has taken CCTV footage from the building and are trying to identify the culprits.
