Noida Authority is planning to shift the U-turn at Dadri Chalera main road a kilometre away from where it is located at present. But residents of Stellar Green Apartments in Sector 44, Noida, are opposed to the plan, as they will have to travel an extra mile to enter the society if it happens.
At present, the U-turn is located near Sadarpur Village close to the apartment, and residents do not want to lose the advantage of proximity to the U-turn.
DD Tiwari, president of the RWA, and Akshay Kapoor, general secretary, on Tuesday met project engineer RS Yadav, along with FONRWA president NP Singh and secretary-general AN Dhavan about the issue.
Tiwari said the 100 families living in Stellar Green Apartments will be affected if the U-turn is shifted.
RS Yadav told City Spidey that the concerns of the resident body would be taken into consideration by Noida Authority before finalising the plan.
