Noida: Security guards of Pan Oasis thrash residents; police yet to lodge FIR!

In a rather bizarre incident, three residents of Pan Oasis, a high-rise located in Noida's Sector 70, were beaten up by the security guards deployed in the society.

The incident took place late Thursday when the residents of Flat No 1404 - Sumit Buri, Neeraj Handa, and Sanjeev Kumar, came out at the entrance gate of the society to send off some of their relatives.

The security in charge of the society, Veerpal Singh, questioned them. The talks then turned into a heated argument following which the security in charge called all the guards of the society and started thrashing them badly with sticks and iron rods.

The victims suffered major injuries, fractures too in hands, legs and other parts of the body.

"We approached the local police, told about the incident and asked them to lodge an FIR against the security in charge but they refused to do so," the victims alleged.

When City Spidey apprised Sudha Singh, SP City (Noida) about the incident, she assured, "The victims can approach us, we will register a complaint against the accused."

This particular incident raises serious questions on the management of society and the inaction of local police.
