Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, is one of the most important religious festivals for Jains. It celebrates the birth of Mahavir, the 24th and last Tirthankara of Avasarpini.

In order to mark the birth anniversary of Mahavir Jayanti, the Jain community across Dwarka on Wednesday celebrated Mahavir Jain Kalyan Mahostav. 

Thousands of people, belonging to the particular community flocked to the temple, situated in Sector 12, where several events were organised on this occasion.

From grand procession, cultural, religious programmes to community feast, every person associated with the community participated in all the events to spread the message of love, brotherhood, and welfare of humanity.
