Around 25 home buyers along with children, who had booked home in Tower B-18 of Supertech Exo Village-1 in Noida Extension staged a protest on Saturday at the developer’s office in Sector 58 against the delayed possession of their dream houses.

The buyers complained that it has been over six years since they had booked flats in the group housing project being developed by Supertech, a reality major in Noida. At the time of booking, they were promised that the possession of flats will be done within three years. But they are still waiting for that.

Sharad Singh, who purchased a flat in tower B-18 of the housing project, said that the construction of the project has seen inordinate delay. “We want the builder to give us possession of the flats immediately.”

Sumit Saxena, another home buyer, said that the flat buyers are left with no other alternative. “That is why we thronged Supertech office in Sector 58 today demanding possession of our homes,” said Sumit.

He further added that they met one of the directors of the company and apprised him about their demands. He assured them that the construction work will restart in sometime and the project will be completed soon.

However, the buyers weren’t satisfied with the assurances. They said that they received similar assurances earlier also but no progress was made.
