An official in Greater Noida Authority told CitySpidey that similar inspections will be held in other societies.
The Greater Noida Authority recently launched a surprise inspection drive in the residential societies to check stagnant water to prevent mosquito breeding. During its first part of the drive, a team led by District Malaria officer on Tuesday inspected in three societies – Panchsheel Greens, Ajnara Homes and Ajnara Le Garden in Greater Noida West.
As per the reports, the inspection team found several areas for stagnant water and found mosquito breeding in all three societies. The inspection team has imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh Panchsheel Greens and Ajnara Le respectively. Whereas, Ajnara Homes was slapped with Rs 64,000.
An official in Greater Noida Authority told CitySpidey that similar inspections will be held in other societies. "Similar inspections will be held in other societies and wherever mosquito breeding is spotted, a hefty fine would be imposed on them," said an official, requesting not to be named.
