Residents of sector 51 can now breathe easy as Noida Industrial Development Authority has finally listened to their complaints.
On Thursday, the authority began the repair work of broken footpaths and boundary walls of the only children park in Sector 51. The move will provide relief to the residents who have been complaining and following up with the concerned officers of the authority since a long time.
The development is an outcome of Safaigiri, an initiative by Noida Industrial Development Authority to improve hygienic standard in the city. Recently, the officials from the authority visited the sector and identified the problems to be solved.
Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary of RWA Sector 51, said that the repairing work of the only children's park of sector-51 is in full swing. “They are revamping the footpaths and repairing the broken boundary walls of the park,” he said.
He informed that the officials have already revamped footpaths of another park in Block-C of the sector.
Kumar said, ''After consistently following up with the officials for carrying out repair work in the park, the department of horticulture initiated an action. I would like to thank Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Noida Authority for directing the officials to carry out renovation work in the sector's park.”
