It is that time of the year when people love to do pandal-hopping across the city. This year, most of the Durga puja pandals have been designed with a particular theme. Organising committees have been putting a lot of emphasis on environment conservation.
Eco-friendly materials are being used at these pandals. The organising teams have decided to shun the usage of plastic as it is considered to be very dangerous for the environment.
Apart from the theme, these organising teams have been involving people into various activities like dance competition, drawing competition, fancy dress competition and quiz competitions.
They are also bringing in popular singers and performers to entertain the people at the puja pandals.
