Officers of the Noida Industrial Development Authority, along with the people living in various residential pockets, carried out a massive cleanliness drive in four sectors of the city on Saturday. They also visited sectors 15, 20, 31 and 122 to take stock of their civic issues.
A K Tripathi, officer on special duty with the Noida Industrial Development Authority, led the team carrying out cleanliness drive at Sector 31 while the team at Sector 20 was led by Satyendra Giri, manager with Work Circle 9, Noida Authority.
On their visit to these sectors, the officers also sensitised the residents about wet waste segregation and avoiding use of plastic. They also shared the schedule of vehicles deployed for door-to-door waste collection.
The officials formed four separate teams comprising officials from four different departments, namely civil, water, horticulture and public health. These officials will carry out cleanliness drive, identify the civic problems and will work in solving the problems.
