Suspicious about the visitors’ activity in parking lot, security guards confront three persons tinkering with a motorcycle. They nab one of them and hand him over to police.

The security team of Homes 121, a residential society in Sector 121 of Noida, caught a bike thief from the visitor parking of the society on June 10.

A security guard of the security team of society said that around 9.30 pm three men came on a bike and parked their bike in visitor parking. “They tried to steal a bike and they broke open the lock of the bike but unfortunately for them, we were looking at them. We caught one of them. The other two ran away. After that we informed the AOA of the society about the incident,” he said.

Sanjeev Dixit, AOA president of Homes 121 told City Spidey that after that they came here to steal a bike. “We called the police and hand him over to the police late night of yesterday. “AOA praises the work done by the security team and members of AOA decided to reward the security team of the society,” Dixit added.

Members of AOA said a week ago, a bike was stolen from the society and this is the second incident that occurred in the society.

According to Police, the suspect name is Amarpal Singh, who is a fast food vendor and conducts his business in neighbourhood of the society.

Zaheer Khan, Station House Officer (SHO) of Phase 3 police station told City Spidey that the involvement of Amarapal Singh may or may not have been involved in the theft. "Investigation is on and police is looking into all possibilities,” he said.
