Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Thursday approved mandatory annual health check-up scheme for all the serving employees of Government of National Capital Territory (GNCT) of Delhi.
It will be applicable to all the employees with the age of 40 or above.
Under the scheme, a subsidy of Rs 2,000 for male employees and Rs 2,000 for female employees will be credited in the account of entitled hospital for health check-up.
Hospitals will also prepare a confidential report of all employees and it will be sent to Chief Secretary of Delhi government. Summary will be attached with annual performance report.
The LG has ordered all department under GNCT to make necessary provisions in their budget to meet the expenses with immediate effects.
16 private hospital, 2 hospital of Delhi government and 8 hospitals of NCR have been entitled for the annual check-up.
