Signboards on roads give vital information about reaching a particular place. However, in Indirapuram the administration seems to have abdicated its responsibility to the upkeep of the signboards on the roads of the city. Or who knows they think the commuters know the routes by heart.
A single visit to the city is enough to figure how poor is the maintenance of the roadside signboards. While some are broken, others are hidden under the overgrown branches of trees.
There are signboards which have been overshadowed by hoardings and handbills of political leaders. This reflects that our representatives are more concerned about themselves than guiding commuters with the right direction.
Lack of proper signage makes it difficult for commuters to reach their destination. Major roads are no exception.
