Two peddlers arrested with heroine worth a crore in Greater Noida
Greater Noida: The sleuths of Beta 2 police station in Greater Noida arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized heroine worth over a crore on Wednesday.
During a checking, police intercepted a car with two men and found 63 kg of heroine worth a crore, Rs 25 lakh in cash in Greater Noida on Wednesday night.
The accused Arun, a native of Jharkhand and his accomplices in the crime during the interrogation told police that he used to bring heroine from Jharkhand and give it to the third party who is identified as Satish, a resident of Haryana.
Satish used to supply the intoxicating material to many districts in Haryana and Punjab.
“While two people have been arrested by the police, search for two more accused, natives of Jharkhand is on,” Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vaibhav Krishna said.
An FIR has been registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
