Advisory by Noida Magistrate for New Year parties

Noida: Noida City Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Mishra released a video advisory on Saturday where he asked people to take written permission from the office of the district magistrate for organising any event on New Year's eve.

In the video, Mishra said that for any commercial event or gathering, a written permission and no objection certificate (NOC) is required from traffic police, police, fire department, electrical safety department and the entertainment tax department.

Talking about the use of liquor in the gathering, the City Magistrate informed that online permission for FL-11 License (one-day bar License) is mandatory and can be acquired by depositing Rs 10,000 and necessary documents.

Clearing the air, the City Magistrate said that any gathering, programs organised by Resident Welfare Association (RWA), Apartment Owners Association or private companies, which have no commercial purpose and do not charge ticket fee, require no such permission.

Giving a clear warning Mishra said that an investigation will be carried out if anyone is found to be violating any laid guidelines.
