Spring is here, preparations on for Basant Utsav

New Delhi: With spring is setting in societies are preparing pandals for Saraswati puja (worship). This year, Basant Utsav will fall on January 29. 

Culture programmes are lined up for the occasion of the Sarasvati puja. Parks are booked for the purpose for three to four days. 

RWA of Ankur Apartments, Madhulika Goel, said, “We celebrate the new year with zest. Now that Basant is arriving we all are preparing for the festival. We sent out a circular. Members desirous of participation in the cultural festival can send their name as soon as possible.” 

Narwana apartment is making all-out effort to organise the Basant Festival. It will be a three-day-long celebration.
