Metro services to start early on polling day in Delhi
New Delhi: To facilitate easy travel for election staff, the metro services will start from 4 am on the polling date (February 8) of Delhi Assembly elections.
The trains will run with a frequency of 30 minutes on all the lines till 6 am.
After 6 am, the trains will run as per the normal timetable throughout the day on all the lines.
The elections will be held amid tight security with deployment of 90,000 police personnel across 13,750 polling stations in the city.
