Noida: The district administration of Gautam Budh Nagar on Saturday ordered sealing of entry gates of Supertech Capetown, a highrise in Sector 74, Noida, shortly after a positive case of coronavirus reported from the society.
According to sources, the person had returned home after a 22 days long tour of foreign country on March 9. He was suffering with fever and had given blood sample for test. He was tested positive. He has now been admitted to the hospital where he would be kept in isolation.
District Magistrate BN Singh said that a case of corona positive detected from the society following which gates have temporarily been sealed with immediate effect. He has also imposed prohibition on residents and vehicular movement from all residential towers in the society.
As per the order, entry and exit have temporarily been sealed with immediate effect from 10 am (March 21) to 7 am (March 23).
However, in case of emergency, the entry and exit would be allowed. The administration also advised residents to stay indoors for the said period and any violation of the order would be treated as an offense and the person would be liable for action under Section 188 of the CrPc.
