Gurugram: The total number of Covid-19 positive cases has reached 5,829 with 130 new cases in Gurugram district on Saturday. Three patients succumbed to coronavirus disease, as per the daily health bulletin.
71 patients have been discharged after recovery in the district during the 24 hours period taking the tally of recovered patients to 4,496. While the Covid-19 fatalities stand at 99 in Gurugram.
The number of active cases in the district now rose to 1,234, of which, 51 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 292 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 48 are under observation at district Covid care centre, while 843 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, Haryana state has reported 545 fresh cases and five deaths linked to coronavirus on Saturday. So far, a total of 16,548 cases and 260 deaths have been reported in the state, according to the state health department.
566 patients were discharged during the 24 hours period in Haryana taking the tally of recovered patients to 12,257, according to the state health department.
Till date, the number of active cases is 4,031. The state’s recovery rate stands at 74.85 per cent while the doubling rate stands at 18 days.
