Noida: A 62-year-old woman, who was battling depression, allegedly jumped to her death from her flat at 19th floor in Noida on Thursday. As per police, she was fighting depression in the last few months.
The woman was a resident of Sector 78 in Noida. She lived with her husband and a daughter in a highrise apartment.
“The woman was suffering from depression for the past few months and that appears to have triggered her extreme step. Her husband and daughter were asleep when she jumped off the balcony of their 19th-floor flat,” an official from the local police station told PTI.
According to police, the family is from Kanpur district. The body was sent for post mortem.
