New Delhi: The weather department said that Delhi is likely to receive light rain on Saturday. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.
In the last five days, the city has received traces of rainfall. As per the Safdarjung Observatory, which provides the official figures for the city, the national capital has recorded nil rainfall this month so far. On a normal basis, the observatory records 28.8 mm precipitation during the period.
Moreover, the Palam and Lodhi road stations have also reported deficiency in rainfall by 99 and 100 per cent respectively this month.
Since the start of the monsoon season on June 1, the national capital has recorded 555.6 mm of rainfall against the normal of 552.6 mm.
