Gurugram: Gurugram on Friday reported three more deaths linked to coronavirus, pushing the toll to 143, while 289 fresh cases increased the district’s infection count to 14,584 according to the district health department.

The district’s fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.98 per cent, as per the data.

The number of active cases has also breached the mark of 2,000 with 2,040 patients being treated at different facilities across the district. It was 1,951 on Thursday, 1,858 on Wednesday, 1,760 on Tuesday, 1,682 on Monday, and 1,686 on Sunday, as per the data.

Of the total active cases, 21 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 178 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 21 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 1,820 patients are in home isolation.

The district’s overall recoveries counted to 12,401 after 197 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours period. The recovery rate further slipped to 85.03 per cent from 85.37 per cent on Thursday. It was 85.71 per cent on Wednesday, 86.01 per cent on Tuesday, 86.47 per cent on Monday, and 86.31 per cent on Sunday, according to the statistics.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 2,388 fresh cases, taking the state total infection tally to 88,332, while the death toll counted to 932 as 25 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours.

The state’s overall recoveries counted to 68,525, while the total number of active cases stood at 18,875.

The state’s recovery rate counted to 77.58 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.20 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.06 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 29 days.
