New Delhi: Delhi recorded 3,299 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally to 3,31,017 on Sunday. The number of new cases reported came out of 49,414 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of the 49,414 tests conducted, 14,506 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 34,908 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate stood at 6.68 per cent, slightly up from 5.85 per cent on the previous day.
Delhi on Sunday reported 28 deaths due to coronavirus, taking the death toll to 6,009. 35 deaths were reported on Saturday, 22 on Friday, 26 on Thursday, 44 on Wednesday, 45 on Tuesday, 40 on Monday, 29 on Sunday and 48 on Saturday.
2,863 patients recovered from the deadly disease during the day, taking the total recovery figure to 3,01,716 in the national capital. The recovery rate slightly dropped to 91.14 per cent from 91.19 per cent on the previous day.
The number of active cases now counted to 23,292 in the national capital. The number of people in home isolation is 13,742. Out of the total number of 15,704 beds in Covid hospitals, 10,670 are vacant.
