Dwarka: A meeting was called to discuss the illegal directions of Naveen Aggarwal, DM, South West-I and the strategy to stop the flyover project and widespread cutting of trees.
Everyone unanimously condemned the stand of DM giving directions to police and NHAI to continue the work despite no permission to cut trees and UTTIPEC approval for the project.
We will meet Gopal Rai, Environment Minister regarding the permission to cut trees. Also, we shall file writ petition in High Court against the project.
We shall soon conduct a drive to prepare database including numbers, photographs and species of all the trees that would be impacted by the project.
