New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 424 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,26,872. The number of new cases reported came out of 68,759 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 39,217 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 29,542 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.62 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 7.06 per cent.
14 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,585. 14 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 21 on Friday, 13 on Thursday, 21 on Wednesday and 28 on Tuesday.
708 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,11,243 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 97.50 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Sunday. Active cases declined by 298 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 5,044 active cases.
Out of the total 14,067 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 12,125 are vacant. A total of 2,600 patients are in home isolation.
