New Delhi: The Capital on Tuesday recorded 992 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,60,611. The number of new cases reported came out of 36,757 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 28,618 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 8,139 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 2.70 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate was at 4.55 per cent.
Four deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,016.
A total of 1,591 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,42,166 in the national capital. Currently, there are 7,429 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 5,784 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 4,200 are vacant. A total of 4,832 patients are in home isolation.
