Dwarka: A camp for Covid test was organised at Radhika Apartments in Sector 14, Dwarka on Tuesday. The camp was organised by the Dispensary of Delhi Government, Sector 14. Seeing the rise in number of cases in the society, the camp was organised in the morning for three hours from 10 am to 1 pm.
As shared by the representatives of RWA who were also standing there to support the activity, a total of 120 people went through rapid antigen test and 19 were found positive.
General secretary of RWA, Pramod Rajawat said, “This was the welcome initiative by the authority as the cases are increasing in the society. More such camps should be organised here so that Covid positive people would start treatment immediately and in that way, could minimise the chance to spread infection to others.”
As gathered from the notice board of RWA, there are 62 flats having Covid positive people and they are in isolation.
Treasurer of RWA, Madan Mohan Gusain said, “We are trying our best to make people aware and follow protocol. It is possible only when we act collectively. I appeal to all the residents to please respect the Covid protocol and help in breaking the chain.”
