NEFOMA starts oxygen bank in GreNo West

New Delhi: The times are really tough right now due to prevalent Covid crisis. Procuring oxygen for Covid patients is a task and people are looking for leads everywhere. To help in this crisis and make the situation less miserable for people, Noida Estate Flat Owners Main Association (NEFOMA) has started an oxygen bank.

Those who have oxygen cylinders can get them refilled at Gaurcity Arcade Market, Gaur City-2, Greater Noida West. This facility was inaugurated by Brahm Singh, Senior Manager, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.

The Resident Welfare Associations and Apartments Owners Associations can contact the numbers provided in the poster shared by NEFOMA for the same. It is a 24x7 facility.

According to NEFOMA President Annu Khan, the oxygen supply being done by RWA and AOA at L1 centre will continue as previously, however, if any emergency occurs, the patient can procure oxygen from this new facility.

Rashmi Pandey, General Secretary, NEFOMA said that they have started the facility with 20 big oxygen cylinders so that the societies in and around Greater Noida West can get oxygen in need and that NEFOMA team is keen on ensuring that nobody loses their life because of shortage of oxygen.

Mahavir Thussu, Vice President, NEFOMA told that the facility has 20 cylinders of 50 litre capacity and they are high pressure cylinders with pressure of about 200 BAR. The procedure to get an oxygen cylinder is simple, the patient needs to have their Covid report, a copy of Aadhaar Card and a doctor’s prescription.
