Greater Noida: Residents of Himalaya Pride, a residential society in Greater Noida West, raised their issue regarding basic amenities in society and alleged that the builder had constructed an unauthorised tower in the society.
Naresh Nautiyal, a residents of the society shared a tweet, “मैं हिमालय प्राईड ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट से बिल्डर केसताए हुए घर का खरीदार हुं ग्रेटर नोएडा अथॉरिटी ने खुद सार्वजनिक न्यूज़ में संदेश दीया था कि हमसे मीटिंग करो और दिक्कतों का समाधान करो कहकर पूरी मीटिंग हुई और रिजल्ट आपके सामने में अटैच कर रहा हूं इसीलिए यह रिसीविंग नहीं दे रहे थे ।”

Residents alleged that Tower E is unauthorised and illegally constructed by the builder. According to them, the builder made a commercial shop in the basement of the building which is illegal. They shared that the builder closed the emergency exit and residents have to park their vehicles at visitors parking.
Nautiyal shared, “Builder promised many things to us but there is no execution. Builder constructed Tower E in between towers A and B, which is unauthorised. Tower E is not mentioned on the map. While the construction was started, the builder said that this is the guest house for the residents but now the builder is selling the flats of Tower E.”

He shared, “Builder sold the open parking and made 20 commercial shops in the basement and 20 shops on the ground floor which is illegal. At the place of the emergency exit, the builder made parking. We just want a peaceful life.”
Devraj Chauhan, another resident of the society shared, “From the first day in the society, all the residents have issues on basic amenities. There is no proper security in society, security guards are not active. Builder has constructed an unauthorised tower in the society. There is no camera in the parking lot for security purposes. Open parking is for the guest and visitors but the builder tries to sell it.”
Chauhan added, “There is no OC/CC of Tower D but the builder gave the possession and took maintenance charge of one year in advance.”
Dinesh Sharma, the builder of the society said, “I have a revised map of the society in which the Tower E and the shops are legal. The work was not done without taking permission. I want to raise a question to residents about why they do not make RWA and take the handover from my side and why they do not pay maintenance charges.”
Sharma shared, “Authority took charges of water supply from us, we were trying to get supply of water free of cost but now authority has sent us a bill and we have to pay it.”
