Dwarka: Sector 9 residents demand pruning of overgrown trees

Dwarka: For a while now, residents of Sector 9, Dwarka have been demanding the pruning of overgrown trees that are causing inconvenience in the service lane. They say it is tough to walk or travel because of the dark lane and overgrown tree branches.

Some overgrown trees on the road create blind spots while taking a turn, making the area accident-prone.

Such tree branches are not only creating problems during walks but also hiding street lights and that can cause many accidents. These aspects are making the footpaths unsafe for pedestrians.

These overgrown trees are calling for pruning

KS Bhati, a resident said, “The Delhi Development Authority should take up the work right away, it is a serious threat and the roads of Sector 9, near park 3 are also in dilapidated conditions necessitating immediate patchwork to avoid any accidental mishap.”

He added, “Concerned DDA engineers are requested to do an inspection and necessary work urgently.”
