Noida: In rainy seasons, the condition of various roads has become miserable in Sector 168, Noida, but the authorities have not been acting on it. The residents have consistently complained in the past two years about the damaged roads, however, the authorities have turned a deaf ear to their complaints.
During rain, the water gets accumulated in potholes, thus making it difficult for commuters to judge the depth of potholes. CitySpidey has already written on this issue. According to the residents, the road has been in a bad state for six years. Residents also said that they have complained almost 50 times on Twitter.

“The roads are getting worse day-by-day. The roads should be repaired seven years back but every time we complain about this issue, they do the patch repair which gets damaged after some days. The resurfacing of these roads has been pending for a very long time. I don’t know why it is taking so long,” said Mohan Singh Negi, a resident of Paras Seasons in Sector 168, Noida.
“Broken roads are not only becoming the cause of accidents but water logging is another major problem after rain. I don’t know what the authorities are waiting for. The roads are in pitiable condition and authorities are not paying heed. Asking for basic amenities like roads is not a big thing we are asking for,” said Piyush Chatwal, a resident of Paras Seasons in Sector 168, Noida.
