Noida: Undoubtedly, what happened in Mahagun Mirabella, Sector 79, Noida, on September 28, has left the residents in fear. Six residents {three female, one male and two children} of Mahagun were trapped in the lift for almost 8-10 minutes. The residents encountered a fall of lift from the 23rd floor to ground floor.
Though according to the residents, this is not the only time when they have witnessed this situation. On October 1, few residents of Mahagun Mirabella went to the Noida Authority office and met CEO Ritu Maheshwari and ACEO Praveen Mishra in their office.
The residents who visited the office said that the officials were apprised by the authority for recurring issues faced by the residents in Mahagun Mirabella on pending matters in the society, including the adamant approach of the builder.
Ashok Vardhan, a resident of the society, said, “The CEO noted our concerns, assured to help and directed the ACEO concerned. ACEO shared that he will very soon set up a common meeting between the builder and Mirabella residents in their office under their presence, to get solutions in a time-bound manner. After setting up the meeting, they will inform the residents.”
While residents are hopeful that this meeting will bring respite, they resolved to continue creating pressure using all the possible methods or means.
