Noida: Society residents complain bad road in Sector 168

Noida: The condition of the road in front of Golden Palm, Paras Seasons and Sunworld Arista societies is worsening day by day. Residents of Noida, Sector 168 raised the issue and shared that during the rainy days, they face a lot of difficulties. A stretch of approximately more than 500-meter is broken.

They shared a tweet, “वैसे तो बारिश मौसम को खुशनमा कर देती है पर @Sector168Noida में रोड की जो वेंटीलेटर वाली हालत को देख कर समझ नही आता की बारिश को देख कर खुश हो या रोड की स्तिथि देख कर दुखी होय। एक साल बीत गया कंप्लेंट करते पर फाइल है की अप्रूव ही नहीं हुई @CeoNoida  @rituias2003 @noida_authority.”

According to the residents, the road was last constructed in 2014. The road has been damaged and for the last one and a half years, it was not repaired. Commuters are facing difficulties in negotiating gravels that spill by the force of the vehicle. Strangers are facing a lot of difficulties during the rainy season.

Puneet, a resident of Paras Seasons Society said, “The road is getting accident-prone and muddy day by day. We are eagerly waiting for the day when Noida Authority starts resurfacing. The sector needs attention and timely care which is missing at this point.”

Sumit Garg, another resident of Sunworld Arista said, “Noida Authority, under its current CEO, has been proactive in overall development and beautification of Noida. But when it comes to Sector 168, even the basic infrastructure facilities like internal roads especially in front of Golden Palms, Paras Seasons and Grand Arista are completely missing.”

He added, “Noida Authority has neglected resurfacing of 7-year-old internal roads. The roads are in such bad condition that the residents of Sector 168 are prone to fatal accidents. It looks like not even God knows when Noida Authority will take action on multiple complaints filed by the residents.”

Another resident from Paras Seasons said, “The condition of the road at Noida Expressway in Sector 168 has worsened and as a result, witnessed several accidents in the past two months. Noida Authority scrapped and did a filling of the road. But it has broken. It now possess danger to almost 3,000 residents who use the stretch from Golden Palm society to Arista.”
