Local vendors benefit from Diwali Mela at Kavi Nagar

Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam has organised a Bhavya Diwali Mela in Ramleela maidan, Kavi Nagar. The mela started on October 28 and will go on till November 3. There are several shops to cater to your Diwali needs. The shops in the mela have been given free of cost to local street vendors and women from self-help groups under PM Swanidhi Yojna. It is thus a perfect platform for local vendors to sell their products and increase their sales.

The mela was inaugurated by General VK Singh, Asha Sharma, Mayor, and DM Ghaziabad Rakesh Kumar Singh. It has several rides and shops to engage kids and elders alike. As one explores inside, several unique shops of Diwali decorations and handicrafts can be seen.
