GreNo West: First open gym inaugurated at Techzone 4

Greater Noida: Greater Noida West’s first Open Gym was inaugurated by Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhooshan on 8th December 2021 at Techzone 4.

The Noida Authority has taken up a campaign to make Greater Noida a modern and convenient city. Under this, open gyms are being built in parks across Greater Noida and Greno West on the instructions of CEO Narendra Bhooshan.

The open gym of this park in Techzone 4 is spread over an area of ​​about four acres. It includes an air walker, sit-up station, fixed dumbbell, air swing, horse rider station, leg press, pool chair, exercising bar, chest press, electrical exerciser, double-crosses walker, and twister.

Moreover, equipment such as a bridge ladder and weight lifter has also been installed. About 32 lakh rupees have been spent on these devices.

To date, various open gyms have been constructed in Noida including C Block of Sector Alpha One, Subhas Chandra Bose Park of Sector Alpha 2, B Block of Beta One, H Block of Beta 2, D Block of Gamma One, Shram Vihar Park at Pocket G of Gamma One and Gamma One (Officers Colony) K Pocket A among others.

Shweta Bharati (45), General Secratary, NEFOWA says, "The location of the gym is quite accessible for the residents and I am sure a lot of peoplew will use it . The equipments installed are all new and it is nicely built."

On the occasion of its launch, CEO Narendra said that in the coming days, efforts will be made to set up open gyms in many more places, so that people become health conscious. He also appealed to residents to take care of the equipment.
