Greater Noida: In the near future, the office of the Greater Noida authority would become more accessible for the residents of Greater Noida West. The area is going to get a second office of the Noida Authority. If all goes according to plan, the new office would start functioning in the next six months. The foundation of the new office at Techzone 4 was laid on December 8, 2021 by Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of Greater Noida Authority.
The construction cost of the project is estimated to be around Rs 2.5 Crore. According to the officials, the CEO will be in the office here for two days a week. The rest of the officers will sit here regularly and would be at the service of the residents of Greater Noida West.
At present, the site office of the authority is running at Gautam Buddha Balak Inter College, Greno West. The distance from Greater Noida West to the authority's office is about 25 kms. The residents of Greno West find it cumbersome to reach the authority office, because of the traveling distance involved.
Apart from residential sectors and villages, about 200 residential societies are built in Greater Noida West. The population will increase further in the coming days. The Authority decided to build this new office Keeping the increased future needs of the residents.
This 2.5 crore project will be built in about 1100 square meters of land, which will contain the office of the CEO, meeting and waiting rooms, three cabins, a record room, and a toilet block.
The CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan says, "Greater Noida Authority will have four offices. Apart from the offices in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West, two more offices will come up in the Greater Noida extension. The people do not have to come to the Government, but instead, the Government should reach the people. This office in Greater Noida West will fulfill the aspirations of the residents. This office will not only make it easier to settle the complaints here, but the pace of development works of Greater Noida will increase further."
He adds, "Residents will be able to bring their grievances to the authorities on any day. This will solve their problem in less time."
