GreNo: Children make decorative items from waste

The Public Health Department of Greater Noida Authority in association with Feedback Foundation, an organization associated with the cleanliness campaign of Greater Noida organized a waste material art and competition on January 8, 2022. Children of Rail Vihar, Sector Alpha One participated in this contest. As part of the contest children made many decorative items from waste such as pots, fruit, flower baskets, dolls, Mickey Mouse and many more. Children showcased artworks based on the theme 3R Principles,  that is, Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.

Rail Vihar RWA has decided to honor these children on 26th January.  The team of Public Health Department and Feedback Foundation also made  the residents of Rail Vihar aware about the need for cleanliness. The main aim of the  event was to highlight the best possible use of waste materials and  less use of plastic and other non-recyclable materials.

The children showed a lot of creativity. "Children made these decorative items from old newspapers, cardboards, plastic wastes and many more. Children learn how to make the best out of waste in schools", says Akashdeep Gautam from Feedback foundation.
