Greater Noida: Under the first phase of assembly elections in Gautam Budh Nagar, votes will be cast on February 10. Regarding this, the necessary facilities will be available at all the polling stations located in the respective areas under the Greater Noida Authority. The authority's ACEO Deep Chandra has entrusted this responsibility to all the work circles after a meeting on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
In view of the upcoming elections, all the polling stations will have to be set up On the instructions of Greater Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan, ACEO Deep Chandra held a meeting with the General Manager Project and other engineers on Thursday. According to the polling stations, the authority has created eight zones in Greater Noida.
The responsibility of polling stations of all these eight zones has been given to different work circles. In the meeting, discussions were held on providing facilities like electricity, water and furniture among others, at all the polling stations.
Keeping in mind the differently-abled, patients and senior citizens, ramps will be made at all the polling stations. Cleanliness will be further improved in and around the polling stations. In view of Covid 19 scare, there will also be arrangements for sanitizers at the polling stations and a cordon will also be made. CEO Narendra Bhushan says, "Work circle wise teams have been formed, in which apart from senior managers, managers and assistant managers have been included. In the next 10 days, all the centers will be fully prepared."
