Aishwaryam: Residents demand resolution of issues and handover by builder

The residents of Aishwaryam society, a group housing society in Greater Noida West, Gaur City 2 are demanding an immediate resolution of pending issues followed by the handover of the society from the builder to the AOA. The residents allege that the builder has to finish work on the infrastructure of the society which he is ignoring and is thus reluctant to hand over the society.

Earlier, the residents of Aishwaryam Society had raised the issue of inadequate infrastructure. The residents shared that the builder charges Rs 2.20 per sqft as maintenance, still the society lacks basic infrastructure and has several pending issues.

According to residents, the functioning of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) should be audited and necessary work should be done to bring it up to the industry standard by implementing regular checks. Moreover, they shared that the society has no rainwater harvesting system which must be developed and maintained.

On this subject, Arnimesh Kumar, AOA president of the society says, “The residents of Aishwaryam purchased the flats in the hopes of getting at least basic infrastructure. We have paid and are paying heavy maintenance charges to the builder but there are no services provided by the builder.” Residents also demand a waste treatment plant and organic waste converter.

Apart from inadequate infrastructure, society has several maintenance issues such as seepage, open drains and broken roads in front of the society. Kumar adds, “Our AOA was registered on December 24, 2021, and we are demanding the handover of the society but before that builder has to complete all the pending works. The roads in the society premises should be constructed properly. The seepage issue in basement parking 1 and 2 should be resolved. Prolonged seepage is affecting the coating paint of vehicles and will eventually adversely affect the structure if not taken care of soon .”

The possession in society started in the year 2019. There are 438 flats and 5 towers in the society. About 418 families live in the society.

Zuheab, a resident of Tower A, says, "Water, which is the main resource, is not maintained in the society. Every Monsoon, rainwater gets logged into the society. Moreover, the quality of water supplied to us is poor. For this, the builder needs to get the water treatment plant checked and install water softeners. This should be ensured by proper auditing of the legal number of functional borewells in place by competent government authorities. It is high time that the builder takes note of these points and  takes some action.”

CitySpdiey also tried to talk with the builder but we are not getting a response from his side. We will update the story after getting the comment from the builder.
