In view of the upcoming elections in UP, NEFOWA (Noida Extension Flat Owner Welfare Association), on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, appealed the residents of Greater Noida West to vote in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election which will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

NEFOWA circulated messages in several residents group of Greater Noida West, appealing residents to use their vote.

NEFOWA President, Abhishek Kumar says, “NEFOWA is constantly working to solve several issues of home buyers and residents. Issues like pending registry, lack of maintenance and safety are what we constantly try to highlight in front of the authorities. As far as the decision of voting in the elections is concerned, you have to take it yourself. We tried to communicate with many candidates through the affidavit program on Twitter space and we even met some candidates personally to discuss our issues. We hope people choose the right candidate through their votes.”

District Magistrate, Suhas L Yathiraj shared a video on Twitter, “Please go and cast your vote on 10th of Feb.”

CitySpidey also talked to some residents of Noida to get their views on the elections.

Azeem Khan, a resident of Nirala Estate says, “I have been living in Greater Noida for the last 5 years. In my point of view, nothing has changed. I do not want to vote any candidate but I have to in a hope of betterment.”

Mihir Gautam, a resident of Supertech EcoVillage society says, “I would like to say that everyone should vote because it is our right to choose the right candidate. It is the only way we can use our power in the right way. I hope the winning candidate pays more heed to our problems.”

Mahaveer Thusoo, a resident of 14th Avenue, Gaur city 2 says, “Voting is one of the most important rights of every citizen. Residents should vote  and also raise their voice in front of the chosen leader because we chose them and it is again our right to raise our questions.”
