Visit Buddha Park for a relaxed outing

The Spring has graced the capital and doubled the beauty of its various gardens and parks. Among various options, Buddha Gardens on Ridge road, Dhaula Kuan is a lush and scenic green expanse for you to rejuvenate yourself and celebrate Spring.

An 8 feet copper statue of Lord Buddha amidst greenery and an adjacent pond is a major attraction in the park. The park also has a young sapling of the popular Bodhi tree planted here, which has been brought down from Sri Lanka. 

The park is well dotted with a number of trees like Gulmohar, Kareel, Babool, Amaltas and more. These trees are the resting place of birds like Peacocks, Herons, Woodpeckers, and Barbets who beautify the sky with vibrant colours.
