Noida: 7X Welfare Team holds road safety awareness drive

In order to promote road safety in Noida, a drive was organized in Sector 45/46 by 7X Welfare Team in association with Noida Authority and GB Nagar Traffic Police on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Through this drive, commuters were made aware of the importance of following traffic rules and were also made to take an oath to follow the traffic rules. People were also requested to maintain cleanliness on the roads.

The traffic police also took appropriate action against those who violated the traffic rules. Many people who forget to wear seat belts were made to wear them.

"We are running our weekly drives to make people aware of traffic rules, and to keep the city clean and sanitised. Every week we find people who do not wear seat belts, helmets, don't stop at a red light and even drink and drive. By this, they are not only playing with their own lives but also putting others' lives at risk.”

“Our main aim will be achieved when everyone in Noida will wear a helmet and seat belt, will follow traffic rules and will not drive recklessly. Till that day, we will keep holding these drives. Our next event will be on 6th March 2022 near sector 59 metro station, as we have been requested to hold a campaign there keeping the uncontrolled traffic in mind."
