UIDAI has defined the charges to be paid by any resident wishing to avail of Aadhaar Services at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra of their choice. There will be no charges for Adhaar enrollment. Mandatory biometric updates for kids at age 5 to 15 years will also be Free. Any biometric update with or without demographic update will be 100 rupees. Only Demographic updates by residents will be Rupee 50. Downloading the Aadhaar card and coloured print will cost Rs 30.
These charges are inclusive of any applicable taxes. The residents can make the payment at ‘Cash Counter’ available at the ASK or make online payment (to be launched soon) at the time of booking an online appointment from UIDAI website.

Residents of Greater Noida West are happy with this development. As per residents, Adhaar Seva Kendra will serve lakhs of people including students, non-Noida residents, Ghaziabad residents, migrant workers. All these will be benefitted as facilities will be available near home.

Since Adhaar is a unique citizen identity proof, it is largely used as a residence proof by these migrants. The residents can avail of the facility for any corrections or new requests, bank search, post office search without rushing to the Akshardham centre.

This centre will work just like any of the passport Seva Kendra( PSKs) with all the biometric and processing facilities including a verifier and IT desk. The centre will be especially beneficial for women who take the surname of the husband after marriage and have to get the Adhaar updated.

Abhishek Kumar, President, NEFOWA says, “We are happy to witness the operations of Aadhaar card Seva Kendra. We had been demanding the Aadhaar Sewa Kendra from the Greater Noida Authority and Narendra Bhooshan, CEO assured us. Presently, lakhs of people live here in Greater Noida West and an Adhaar Sewa Kendra was important."

There are a large number of migrant workers from Bihar and Bengal in GB Nagar who are employed in various factories, institutions, industries etc. They mostly live on rent and need correct documentation to avail government subsidies.

Manish Kumar, senior vice president NEFOWA, says, "Narendra Bhushan, CEO, Greater Noida authority has solved this big problem. The residents of greater Noida west were very upset as there was no aadhar card service centre. NEFOWA has been pursuing the matter for 1.5 years."

Shweta Bharti, General Secretary, Nefowa says, "Adhaar Sewa Kenra will definitely provide lots of benefits as migrants are coming to Noida and many people have settled here permanently, and there are people who need to get address change, so for this, till now, they had to rush to Ghaziabad centre or Akshardham Delhi centre. Noida sector 78 residents are equally happy that our demand has been met."
