Holi 2022 celebration has already started in Noida. Members of the Jalvayu Vihar laughter club along with their families celebrated the festival of colours on March 16, 2022, Holi Milan in the beautiful lawns of Jalvayu Vihar Community Centre in sector 80.
Members of the club greeted each other with warm hugs and rose petals. Everyone was in a festive mood. Old and young danced to tunes of Rang Barse and ladies performed Gidda dance. Children were seen playing on the lawns and everyone enjoyed themselves.
It became an emotional time for some members as they finally celebrated Holi together after 2 years. Members of the laughter club share that this year, Holi celebrations are special as they can finally enjoy without being afraid of Covid.
Usha Kakkar says, “We feel alive today. After witnessing three waves of Covid, this year Holi feels special is there is no considerable danger of infections. We relished the ghujiyas, samosa, chai and gulab jamuns.”
Veena Grover says, “This event was indeed special. We were delighted to see each other hale and hearty. This time Holi festival has brought a lot of smiles on everyone's faces.”
Nisha Dua says, “This event was planned last week, since then there is a feeling of joy in our hearts, and we enjoyed it completely. We danced, had lovely snacks. Now it truly feels like Holi."
Anita Gupta says, “We performed Gidda dance, and also did Marwari dance. After such a long time, we enjoyed this spring and met our friends who are so important to us.”
Jalvayu Vihar laughter club is a group of like-minded residents from sector 21 and sector 25 Noida who believe in sharing smiles and promoting wellness.
