Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, organised a mega Holi event in Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park. The residents of GreNo participated in the event with zeal and zest.
The event was full of dance, music, food and lots of colours. In the evnt, Mathura's folk singer and dancer, Seema Morwal performed and made everyone groove with her her voice and dance. A group of Braj also played Holi with flowers.
A performance of Charkula dance was performed by two dancers which left everyone awestruck. Performances of Gagri dance, Rasiya of Braj, Rasleela of Radha-Krishna were also very appealing.
Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of Greater Noida Authority says, "Society is identified by its culture and its heritage and to promote the culture of Greater Noida, Greater Noida Authority has planned to organise such cultural programs every month."
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by CEO Narendra Bhushan, ACEO Deep Chandra and Amandeep Duli, GM Project AK Arora, DGM CK Tripathi and KR Verma and representatives of RWAs and social organizations.
The CEO of the authority says, "The children of GreNo are very talented. We will embrace their talent and will give them a boost by setting up a cultural department. This program is its first episode"
In the event, ambulance was available at all exits, police was alert to manage the crowd and Covid protocols were followed.
Jyotishankar Babau, Priest, Sai Temple Sector 41 says, "It gives immense pleasure to witness something grand after two years. Really appreciate the efforts of Greater Noida authority. They know what people need and want."
Sharda Chaurasiya, a resident of GreNo says , "SI really appreciate the authority for this event. It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of something like this The performances were mesmerising and everyone had a great time.
