Noida: 7X Welfare Association created awareness on road safety at Rajnigandha chowk, near sector 16 metro on March 27, 2022. The drive was organized under the aegis of Gautam Budh Nagar Traffic Police traffic volunteers and Felix hospitals.

NCRB's 2020 report shows that around 1.31 lakh people have lost their lives in road accidents. If we talk about every hour, then about 14 to 15 people die in India. It has been observed that if people are taken to the hospital in time when the accident happens, then the accidents can be reduced by 50%.

As per 7X, people not wearing helmets, driving fast, driving on the wrong side, driving under the influence of alcohol and ignoring traffic rules are the reasons for various road accidents. Felix Hospital is also dedicated to improving ambulances and first aid arrangements so that accidents can be reduced.

For this cause, Noida Traffic Cell is also working to remove loopholes at various intersections so that traffic can be smoothed and accidents can be reduced.

Rahul Dixit, Traffic Police officer from the traffic circle, Noida says, "We are seeing a positive effect in the people of Gautam Budh Nagar. The rider and the core rider both can be seen wearing a helmet and even in cars, we see them wearing seat belts properly. The 7X welfare is doing good, and we can see a 50 % reduction in road accidents. Today, we stopped the people in four-wheelers who were not wearing a seat belt."

Brajesh Sharma, founder of the 7X welfare team says, "In every road safety campaign, we ask people to be safe and let others be safe. We ask people to wear ISI helmets and not to wear plastic caps. As they are not safe and can lead to a major risk to life."

Ramdeo Yadav, Traffic Volunteer says, "In our campaigns, we hold the banners and silently make the public aware. We only stop those who are on the wrong path of road safety. Accidents can be reduced with the cooperation of the general public and through such campaigns. Many drivers were impressed by the campaign and became traffic volunteers and were seen making others aware."

7X Welfare team is continuously running this campaign in collaboration with the Noida traffic police. In this campaign, they alert the people and guide them about the rules and regulations of road safety.
